Chemo Day 1 - EpilogViews: 241

What a great forum this is. So many well wishers and comments from friends and supporters. Thank you all for your kind words, email, phone calls and comments.

Day 1 was a breeze compare to yesterday. About 3AM my whole body decide to turn inside out. For the next 18 hours I had my head in the toilet or in a bucket. I was praying for a swift death. I was totally hating life. I can’t remember being that sick for that long. Even a sip of water would set me off.

Mary, Thanks for being there when I needed you most. You are the love of my life. Is this the journey we were to make when we first met in 1965?

Today is much better. I am exhausted but food is staying down and I can drink fluids. I finally collapsed and slept for 11 hours straight. It’s a beautiful day today.

To you all my angels, Peace and Love

did they give you anti nausia meds?

Dan – you are so positive and inspiring. It is good to read. If I ever have to go through chemo I hope I can be as positive.
