anti-nausea medsViews: 340

You mean they were suppose to work? So far nothing has gone according to plan. I took the Anti-nausea meds and they didn’t seem to work. When I felt quesey, I took the meds as I was told and they seemed to make things worse. I have now stopped taking anti-nausea and I am feeling better. For someone that has never had an allergy of any kind suddenly I am allergic to everything. How do we reply to comments here?

I had two drugs. One that I would take the day before treatment and every six hours. It kept me from starting to get sick. I also took something after chemo started if I became queasy. I forget what the drugs were all called.
If the drugs aren’t working, call the doctor, there might be other drugs you can take.

Feel better. Hang in there. You will get through.

“Sometimes you feel like a nut, and sometimes you don’t” I wish I had answer for you my man, but I do know that keeping your sense of humor is always a good thing, and it can get you through a lot more than you think.

Hey Dan, I almost forgot, Liz and I are walking for several hours tomorrow (MAY 18,2007) for you and her brother at French Field in Kent for our annual “Relay for life” walk-a-thon, and as always, you are deep in our prayers.

The anti-nausea med they gave me that seemed to work wonders was Emend. It costs about $300 (for 3 pills!) But I never barfed!

You’re sense of humor is making me laugh at 6 am on this rainy, 43 degree day! Keep it coming!

Dan – for your question on how to reply to comments. You can hit the “comment” button and make a comment in your own journal so others can read it. or it they are a Blog for a Cure member you can go to their journal page and make a comment, then they will get an email notifying them of the comment. Hope this help. I am always looking for ways to improve the system so I would love any suggestions.

Hi Dan it has been a while since we have heard from you. If you have time please check in.
