Think your having a bad day?Views: 371

This was sent to me by my brother in law Frank. Thanks Frank.

HAVING A BAD DAY???
>>
>> In a hospital’s Intensive Care Unit, patients always died in the same
>> bed, on Sunday morning, at about 11:00 a.m., regardless of their medical
>> condition.
>> This puzzled the doctors and some even thought it had something to do
>> with the supernatural. No one could solve the mystery as to why the
>> deaths occurred around 11:00 a.m. On; Sunday, so a worldwide team of
>> experts was assembled to investigate the cause of the incidents.
>> The next Sunday morning, a few minutes before 11:00 a.m., all of the
>> Doctors and nurses nervously waited outside the ward to see for
>> themselves what the terrible phenomenon was all about.
>> Some were holding wooden crosses, prayer books, and other holy objects to
>> ward off the evil spirits.
>> Just when the clock struck 11:00, Pookie Johnson, the part-time Sunday
>> sweeper, entered the ward and unplugged the life support system so he
>> could use the vacuum cleaner.
>>
>> Having a Bad Day????
>>
>> The average cost of rehabilitating a seal after the Exxon Valdez
>> Oil spill in Alaska was $80,000.00. At a special Ceremony, two of
>> the most expensively saved animals were being
>> released back into the wild amid cheers and applause from
>> onlookers.
>> A minute later, in full view, a killer whale ate them both.
>>
>> Still think you are having a Bad Day????
>>
>> A woman came home to find her husband in the kitchen shaking
>> frantically, almost in a dancing frenzy, with some kind of wire
>> running from his waist towards the electric kettle. Intending to
>> jolt him away from the deadly current, she whacked him with a
>> handy plank of wood, breaking his arm two places. Up to that
>> moment, he had been happily listening to his Walkman.
>>
>> STILL think you’re having Bad Day????
>>
>> Two animal rights defenders were protesting the cruelty of sending
>> pigs to a slaughterhouse in Bonn , Germany . Suddenly, all two
>> thousand pigs broke loose and escaped through a broken fence,
>> stampeding madly. The two helpless protesters were trampled to
>> death.
>>
>> What?? STILL having a Bad Day????
>>
>> Iraqi terrorist Khay Rahnajet didn’t pay enough postage on a letter
>> bomb. It came back with “Return to Sender” stamped on it.
>> Forgetting it was the bomb, he opened it and was blown to bits.
>>
>> There now, feeling better????
>>

Everything is on track. Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I have Radiation therapy daily M-F, Labs and Chemo on Tues. RBC and WBC are great. So now every thing is routine. Get up at 5:30AM shower, dress, eat and drive to American Lake VA. About a 30 minute drive. Catch the shuttle to Seattle VA get zapped and catch the shuttle back to American Lake arrive about 1PM if the traffic is good arrive home about 2PM. Very boring.

Now for some thank yous. Thank you Loralei for processing my claims with AFLAC. If you don’t have the AFLAC cancer plan I encourage you to get it. I have already receive substantial cash that will help pay the bills while I am out of work.

Thank you Tim and Connie for the cool hat. I’ve had alot of positive comments on it and it is very comfortable.

Thank you Mary and Sister for being there for me and listening to me whine.

Now for a request. For those of you that attended Fish-o-rama please send pictures. It would be good to see everyone. My plan is to attend next year.

Feel free to call any time. It will be good to here from you guys.

That’s it for now Angels.
Peace and love.

thanks for the humor, I feel better. I’m reading your blog for the first time. I suppose you are tired of advise but zofran worked well for me as an anti nasau drug. Keep blogging please you are great. I don’t believe in prognosises I’m still here seven years later, trust your own instincts. Sending you much healing strength.

This is great. Thanks for posting. I feel grateful for my life.

That was the first thing I read this morning…and it was good. Thanks!

Just to let you know I was thinking about you and your family.

Hug Sherri

Happy Birthday, Dan! I wish I had been here to celebrate it with you and to be honest to have some ice cream cake, too! :D It was so great to see you yesterday. Thanks for sharing your experiance. Here is the joke that I read the other day and thought of you…

A Licensed Counselor was conducting a group therapy session with four young mothers and their small children…

“You all have obsessions,” he observed. To the first mother, he said, “You are obsessed with eating. You’ve even named your daughter Candy.”

He turned to the second Mom. “Your obsession is with money. Again, it manifests itself in your child’s name, Penny.”

He turns to the third Mom. “Your obsession is alcohol. This too manifests itself in your child’s name, Brandy.”

At this point, the fourth mother gets up, takes her little boy by the hand and whispers, “Come on, Dick, we’re leaving.”
